Dan Ellsworth: President
Dan Ellsworth has served as ANIMART President since early 2012. He is originally from Colorado with roots in production agriculture spanning a broad range of market segments from beef, dairy, sheep, equine and agricultural chemicals. His professional animal health career spans over a 17 year period working in major pharmaceutical companies where he was recognized as a leader in field sales, sales management, marketing and organizational development.
As President he strives to model the leadership and innovative culture of the organization. In his role he sets forth the strategic vision of the organization and works collaboratively to achieve key objectives. He spends time with people at all levels of the company, customer base and industry to maintain a firm grasp on growth opportunities for the organization.
Pat Bollant: Chief Financial Officer
Pat Bollant joined ANIMART in early 2015 as their Chief Financial Officer. His 28 year professional career includes working for various privately and publically held businesses, including some that operated on a global basis. These businesses served many customers by offering products that range from medical grade packaging, dental and medical equipment as well as marketing solutions.
As CFO, his goal is to work collaboratively with the entire ANIMART team to ensure the business meets its strategic objectives. He is a Certified Public and Certified Management Accountant. He grew up in Southwest Wisconsin on a Dairy and Beef operation.
Karen Hunt: Director of Human Resources
Karen Hunt has been with ANIMART since 1999, serving in various roles; Accounts Payable and Receivable, Accounting Manager, and for the last eight years in Human Resources. She has an acute understanding of the needs in all areas of the company and works collaboratively with the managers to hire A+ players and develop leaders.
As Director of Human Resources, her goal is to bring the voice of the employees into every conversation and decision brought to the Executive Team. She is committed to working with managers and staff to assist them with company benefits and Human Resources services; recruiting, retaining, and developing people; maintaining compliance with state and federal laws; and providing a balance between ANIMART and the Employee’s interests to attain win-win relationships.
Nick Hemling: Director of Operations
Nick Hemling joined the ANIMART team in the fall of 2009, giving him a unique opportunity to work in a company that is directly involved in production agriculture and happens to be located in his hometown where his family actively farms.
Nick has a financial, logistics and process background along with a strong analytical skillset. He earned an MBP from the University of Tennessee, a BS in Agriculture Economics from UW Madison, and is a graduate from the UW Madison Farm and Industry Short Course programs. He served as a WI FFA State Officer and is currently the Treasurer of the WI State FFA Foundation.
Nick leads the operations and purchasing teams in their quest to provide excellent service to our customers and maintain a consistent supply of products. He is also very involved in the company’s ERP software implementation and development.
